Over the years people have sent us cartoons, banners, and graphics. Some of it is funny. Some of it is angry. All of it is about the same thing. Here's a collection of the ones we've kept.
Uncle Sam Counts Canadians
This one's been on the front page for years. Uncle Sam, clipboard in hand, knocking on a Canadian family's door. The bag says "Census Canada, Made in USA." That's the whole story in one image.

Our top-right banner. A red circle and slash over the name of the company that had no business running a Canadian census. It sits at the top of every page on this site, right next to the logo.

The original site header. It's been there since the beginning. Simple, wide, and to the point.

If you've made something, or found something, that belongs in this gallery, get in touch. Cartoons, memes, banners, photos of protest signs, whatever. If it's about the census and it's good, we'll post it.
We're not picky about the format. Just keep it civil and on topic. Nothing targeting individuals, nothing violent, nothing that makes us look like we've lost the plot.
Why We Keep This
Because images stick in a way that text doesn't. People forget the details of a breach. They remember a cartoon. They forget how a contract got handed to a foreign company. They remember the bag that says "Made in USA."
That's not a knock on words. It's just how people work. A picture does something that a paragraph can't. It sneaks past the part of your brain that's already decided not to care and gets to the part that actually notices.
So we keep them. And we add to them when we can. If you've got something to add, you know where to find us.
